Refueling At Sea

With a maximum range of approximately 5,000 miles, refueling at sea was a common occurrence for Destroyer Escorts.  This series of photographs is from such a refueling sequence.  Nerve-wracking under the best of circumstances, imagine this operation in bad weather and rough seas!
